Original job description

About the Role

We are a growing multi-location healthcare organization looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role that sits at the heart of our day-to-day financial operations from payroll and vendor payments to month-end close and contractor reporting.

If you thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment, enjoy owning a process end-to-end, and want to contribute to a team that genuinely makes a difference in patient care, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Manage the full month-end close process in QuickBooks Online across 12+ locations
Reconcile and monitor bank accounts daily; prepare daily cash flow summaries for ownership
Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports for ownership
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives
Run bi-weekly payroll through ADP, including employee reimbursements
Manage accounts payable and process vendor payments
Process monthly contractor payments to independent physician contractors based on clinic billings
Calculate and process monthly commissions

What We Are Looking For

3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role
Post secondary education in a related field is an asset
Hands-on experience with ADP payroll processing
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple recurring deadlines
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload
Experience in a healthcare or multi-site environment is a definite asset
Precise, polished and accountable

Why Join Us?

We are a patient-focused organization with a close-knit team and a commitment to doing things right. You’ll have clear ownership of your role, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to help shape and improve our financial processes as we grow.

This is a full-time, in-person role and compensation will be commensurate with experience. This is a newly created role. Only those individuals invited to participate in an interview will be contacted.

In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the Ontario Human Rights Code, the company will provide accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process. Please inform Human Resources of any accommodation(s) required, and we will work with you to ensure a fair and accessible recruitment experience.

AI tools may be used to support parts of the recruitment process (such as screening resumes and scheduling or organizing candidate information). Final decisions on all hiring steps are always made by HR and our management teams.
