About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing, transportation, and distribution operations within the agri-food industry. This role will oversee plant operations, fleet management, supply chain activities, commercial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing and plant operations
- Oversee transportation, dispatch, fleet utilization, and maintenance
- Drive operational efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with sales teams to support revenue growth and customer needs
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability
- Lead production planning, inventory management, and supply chain activities
- Develop and coach operational teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Track KPIs and operational metrics to support business growth
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of leadership experience in:
