Build Your Career in Insurance Sales

Are you competitive, self-driven and motivated by the opportunity to build relationships, achieve goals and increase your income?

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Account Manager to join our award-winning Cambridge agency. This role is suited to someone who enjoys speaking with people, creating opportunities and helping clients protect what matters most through home, auto, life and living benefits insurance.

Our agency has ranked among the Top 5% of Desjardins Insurance agencies for 18 years. We provide training, coaching, technology and licensing support, but we are looking for someone who will bring initiative, energy and a strong desire to succeed.

What You’ll Do

Provide home, auto, life and living benefits insurance solutions based on each client’s needs
Follow up with online leads, existing clients, past prospects and referrals
Make outbound calls and schedule insurance review appointments
Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage
Build referral relationships with local car dealerships, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, lawyers and other community partners
Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and follow-up system
Work toward monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Participate in regular coaching, training and team development
Provide a professional and positive client experience throughout the sales process

What We’re Looking For

At least three years of customer-facing experience
Sales experience in insurance, banking, financial services, automotive, telecommunications, real estate, retail or another results-focused environment is preferred
A history of working toward goals and achieving measurable results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confidence speaking with prospective and existing clients by phone
The ability to build relationships and ask thoughtful questions
Personal accountability, resilience and a willingness to be coached
The motivation to develop leads instead of waiting for opportunities to arrive
An Ontario OTL or LLQP licence is an asset but not required. We will sponsor the right candidate through the licensing process

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $48,000
Uncapped commissions and performance bonuses
Expected total annual compensation of approximately $75,000
Opportunity to earn above the target by exceeding sales goals
Monthly, quarterly and annual incentives
Three or more weeks of paid time off
Health and dental benefits after three months
Laptop and technology provided
Ongoing sales training, coaching and professional development

Long-Term Opportunity

For someone with the right ability, performance and leadership potential, this position can provide a pathway toward greater responsibility and possible agency ownership in the future.

Why Join Our Team?

You will join an established, high-performing agency with a strong local reputation, a supportive team and a proven record of developing people. We work hard, celebrate success and give motivated team members the tools and coaching they need to grow.

If you are ready to take ownership of your results and build a rewarding career in insurance sales, we would like to hear from you.

Please apply with your résumé and cover letter.
